Thursday - Scalea boat ride and a family dinner

Thursday morning we went in a boat ride of the coast of Scalea and saw 4 grottos, and a beach with a bar in a Grotto! Woo! 

We boarded the bus after lunch in the hotel restaurant and napped on the way home. We all walked into town (Colli di Fontanelle) and had dinner at Il Panorama.

Hoy es nuestra ultima dia en el ciudad de Buenos Aires! Let´s first recap our plane ride home... After posting our last blog we sat outside and played cards while listening to some Argentine reggae. Our cab was to come around 7 for our 930 flight. The cab arrived a bit early, but no worries we figured there might be a crowd of people leaving the Natural Wonder. to our surprise we were two of 7 people in the entire airport. We proceeded to the check in line (of 3 people) and looked up in disbelief to the departure screen. The flight was delayed until 12:30am! We had to confirm that this was actully happening, so we asked about the reason for the delay as we checked in. The ticketing agent said there was a ¨Slight Strike¨ going on in the Bs.As. Aeroparque! WHAT THE!! He said not to worry as the strike should be over around 1030pm and then the plane would take off and come to Igauzu. Lemon Farm and Bagni Regina Giovanna swimming hole

Updated:  Today we went to a lemon farm and then to a swimming hole on the edge of the Gulf of Napoli. Posting pics and will write more later! Wednesday, June 21 We had scooters until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning so we all decided to take one last scooter journey down the hill to return them in town, eat breakfast, and take the bus to our lemon farm adventure for the morning! Scootering during rush hour is no joke as we became part of the assertive and very fast-paced auto experience. We fueled up (only 3 euro!) and had a few close calls with folks getting to work as we made our way to the rental place near the center of town (piazza Tasso). Phew! After returning the scooters we stopped for an absolutely delicious vanilla ice latte before catching the bus to La Masseria, a 4th generation sorrento working farm (and garden). A day in Sintra - A must to day trip

Yesterday, we spent the day touring Sintra, which is a small town about 15km west of Lisbon - towards the atlantic coast. This area holds the title for being the western most part of Europe. We actually stood in the western most room of the western most castle in all of Europe! The tourist center even gives out certificates if you stay for sunset since you are the last in Europe to watch it go down!  We started off our day by going to Pastelaria Suica for some yummy treats and cafe. Then we boarded the train in Rossio and headed out to Sintra. This was the resort town for the King back in the day and now it is still a rich coastal area.  We started by walking up to the old village area and on the way we passed some sort of happy government protest.
